The John Boy & Billy Big Show has partnered with Animink for solutions to their online needs for almost 15 years. From web design to The Big Show Video of the Day, Animink has consistently created new ways for users to interact with the show online. The folks at The Big Show approached Animink once again to create a digital download store for all of their bits that they have created over the last 30 years in radio.
What came of this was The Big Show Bitbox, an online vault with almost every bit ever created by the nationally syndicated show. Bits are organized by artist, popularity, and album. The massive database behind the online store keeps track of almost 10,000 different bits. Bits can be previewed on the site and added to a virtual cart for purchase.
The entire site is proprietary original code by Animink, allowing users to download their bits directly through their account after purchase in mp3 format.
The result? Over 500 purchases within the first 10 days of opening. Fans have been overwhelmingly positive with the launch of the Bitbox.
